Witchford is a large village in East Cambridgeshire situated in agricultural countryside with a population of circa 2,400. Located close to the A10 and A142, giving access to Ely (3 miles) to the northeast and Cambridge (16 miles) to the southwest. The site is located to the northern boundary of the village.

The contractor on this development is Seagate Homes.

Energy Performance Rating (EPC) A will be the target for the new homes.

Twenty-two homes will be provided for affordable rent: four one-bedroom maisonettes, ten two-bedroom houses and eight three-bedroom houses. There will be eighteen shared ownership homes: six two-bedroom houses, ten three-bedroom houses and two four-bedroom houses.

Set in a sought-after location in Cambridgeshire with good road and access to amenities, these forty new affordable homes, both for affordable rent and shared ownership will help to address the affordable housing shortfall locally and nationally.
