National Customer Group Event
A virtual event held on 19 May 2026 bringing together customers from across all regions to share feedback and insights.
Exercise Classes at Independent Living Schemes
A programme of exercise classes was held across four Independent Living Schemes on 2nd, 9th and 16th June 2026:
- Cranmore Court ILS
- Heather Mead Court ILS
- Ballard Court ILS
- Derek Horn Court ILS
These sessions encouraged residents to stay active, support their physical wellbeing and enjoy regular social interaction with neighbours.
Zumba Classes for Young Adults with SEND
Weekly Zumba sessions were delivered at St Martin's Church, Camberley on 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 28th June. These inclusive sessions provided young adults with SEND an opportunity to participate in accessible physical activity, strengthen confidence and build social connections in a supportive environment.
Family Zumba Classes
Family Zumba sessions took place throughout June at two locations:
- Cordwalles Junior School, Camberley on 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th June
- South Camberley Primary & Nursery School on 22nd and 29th June
The sessions brought local families together through fun, affordable physical activity, promoting healthy lifestyles and community engagement.
Independent Living Group
The Independent Living Group met virtually on 3rd June 2026 as part of Accent's national customer engagement programme. The group provided an opportunity for customers to share feedback, discuss services and help shape future improvements.
Crabtree Park Litter Pick
A community litter pick was held at Crabtree Park, Camberley on 3rd June 2026, supported by volunteers. The event helped improve the local environment, encouraged community pride and provided residents with an opportunity to work together for the benefit of the neighbourhood.
