Mindful Motions – Sudbury Court
Regular exercise and mobility sessions held at Sudbury Court, Whittlesey throughout May 2026, delivered in partnership with Peterborough United Foundation to support health and wellbeing.
Mindful Motions – Napier Place
A series of exercise and mobility sessions held at Napier Place, Orton Wistow from 30 March to 4 May 2026, helping residents stay active and independent.
Hooton Community Skip Day
A community clean-up event held on Hooton Road, Carlton (Nottingham) on 20 May 2026, giving residents the opportunity to dispose of waste and improve the local area.
Mindful Motions – Eaglesthorpe
Exercise and mobility sessions held at Eaglesthorpe, Peterborough from 11 May to 15 June 2026, supporting residents’ physical wellbeing.
Mindful Motions – Bevishall
A programme of exercise and mobility sessions held at Bevishall, Paston (Peterborough) from 14 May to 18 June 2026, encouraging gentle movement and fitness.
Quarterly Housing Drop-In
A housing drop-in session held at Century Square, Peterborough on 14 May 2026, providing residents with the chance to speak directly with their housing team.
Entrepreneur Day with Burmor Construction
An employment and skills event held at Cromwell College, Chatteris on 15 May 2026, offering insight into construction careers and entrepreneurship.
National Customer Group Event
A virtual event held on 19 May 2026 bringing together customers from across all regions to share feedback and insights.
Mindful Motions with Peterborough United Foundation
Our Mindful Motions exercise and mobility sessions took place across several locations, helping residents improve their physical wellbeing, mobility and confidence in a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Sudbury Court, Whittlesey – Sessions held every Monday and Thursday from 10am–12pm.
- Bevishall, Paston, Peterborough – Sessions ran from 14 May to 18 June, 10am–12pm.
- Eaglesthorpe, Peterborough – Sessions ran from 11 May to 15 June, 10am–12pm.
- Cotton End, Bretton – Sessions ran from 22 June to 27 July, 10am–12pm.
Residents enjoyed taking part in a range of gentle exercises designed to support mobility, strength and overall wellbeing while providing opportunities to socialise with neighbours and make new connections.
East Customer Group
Our East Customer Group continued to provide a valuable platform for customers to share feedback, discuss local issues and help shape services. As an invitation-only event, the group brought together engaged customers to ensure resident voices remain at the heart of decision-making.
National Customer Engagement Events
Customers from across our regions came together virtually as part of our national engagement programme.
Highlights included the Independent Living Group on 3 June 2026, where participants shared experiences and helped influence services that matter to them.
National Volunteers Week 2026
To celebrate National Volunteers Week, we delivered a series of community-focused activities with local schools and organisations:
- 2 June – William Hildyard Primary School, Market Deeping.
- 4 June – Project Abundance at The Green Backyard, Peterborough.
- 5 June – Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School.
These events highlighted the positive impact volunteers make within our communities and provided opportunities to strengthen local partnerships.
Bug Hotels – Fairbairn Way, Chatteris
On 18 June, residents and community members joined us to create bug hotels at Fairbairn Way, Chatteris. The activity encouraged environmental awareness and biodiversity while bringing people together for a fun and hands-on community project.
ASB Awareness Week
As part of ASB Awareness Week, we hosted a community event on 29 June at Swifts Corner, Fulbourn. The event provided information and advice on tackling anti-social behaviour, helping residents understand available support and encouraging positive community relationships.
