From 1 October 2026, you will have more rights to see information about your home.
This is because of new rules being introduced by the Government called STAIRs.
The rules mean we will be more open and transparent about how we look after your home and your local area. You will be able to see more about how we run things and make choices and decisions that impact you.
We want you to trust us, and being open and transparent is part of our approach.

We have already put lots of this information on our website for you to see. It shows things like:

You don’t need to do anything different; the change just gives you more rights and access to information.
If you would like the information from our STAIRs website page in a different format, such as large print or braille, just ask us. We’re happy to help.
Coming next year
From April 2027, STAIRs will expand and include more rights for you.
You’ll be able to ask us directly for information about your home, including how we run our services and decisions we make that impact you. For example, how we made a choice about your home, or how we spend money where you live.
There will be an online form to complete, and all requests must be in writing. You will receive an automated email to acknowledge your request within 3 working days, and we will then reply with any information we can share with you within 30 days of your request.
