ASB Awareness Week - Working Together for Safer Communities

Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week (29 June – 5 July)

Today marks the start of ASB Awareness Week, bringing communities, housing providers, local authorities and partner agencies together to raise awareness of anti-social behaviour and the impact it can have on people's lives.

At Accent, we know that feeling safe in your home and neighbourhood is important. That's why throughout the week we'll be meeting with customers, listening to feedback, sharing information and working alongside partner organisations to help tackle anti-social behaviour across our communities.

Understanding Anti-Social Behaviour

One of the biggest challenges when dealing with reports of anti-social behaviour is understanding what ASB is, what action can be taken, and where other support services may be better placed to help.

During ASB Awareness Week, our teams will be speaking with customers about:

What is considered anti-social behaviour

How to report concerns

What information helps us investigate reports

How we work with partners, including local authorities and the police

The support available for customers affected by ASB

Listening and Learning

We'll be speaking with customers who have previously reported anti-social behaviour to better understand their experiences. Their feedback helps us identify what's working well and where we can continue to improve our services.

Every conversation helps us build a clearer picture of the challenges our communities face and how we can work together to address them.

Community Action Makes a Difference

Whether it's attending a local engagement event, joining a community clean-up, speaking to our neighbourhood teams or simply learning more about how ASB is managed, every action contributes to creating stronger, safer neighbourhoods.

Together, we can continue building communities where people feel safe, respected and supported.

Keep an eye on our website and social media channels throughout the week as we share updates from across our regions.
