The partnership, led by Accent Housing and involving Leeds Federated, PA Housing, Habinteg and Chime, has started construction on more than 2,800 affordable homes, with 1,263 already completed and occupied by residents.
The achievement marks a major step forward in helping address the country's housing shortage and providing more affordable homes for individuals and families across England.
Following the partnership's strong performance, Homes England awarded additional funding in 2025 to support the delivery of 251 more homes by March 2027. This brings the total number of homes being delivered through the partnership to 3,057.
Since the programme began, Accent has secured just over £243 million in government funding on behalf of its partners. Together, the five organisations will invest more than £800 million into new housing developments, helping to create thousands of much-needed homes and supporting jobs and local economies.
The partnership has also delivered wider community benefits. More than 1,200 homes are being built using modern construction techniques, helping improve efficiency and sustainability. Around 200 homes are being delivered in rural communities, while more than a third are being built by small and medium-sized construction firms, helping support local businesses and supply chains.
Projects transforming communities
The partnership has delivered a number of landmark developments across the country, including:
Ripleyville, Bradford, West Yorkshire – Accent's major regeneration project, which has received multiple industry award nominations and is expected to complete in Spring 2027.

Looking ahead
The success of the partnership places Accent in a strong position as it awaits the outcome of its bid for the Government's new Social and Affordable Homes Programme.
Accent has proposed building 1,340 additional affordable homes over the next five years, with funding decisions expected later this year.
