Local Changes In Saltburn-by-the-Sea

Find out more about how your views have influenced change at a local level…

December 2020

You said: Residents and grounds maintenance contractors raised concerns about the amount of dog fouling in the communal gardens. Residents were unable to enjoy the communal gardens due to the smell and the mess and the grounds maintenance contractors were unable to cut the grass.

We did: We arranged for a decorative fence to be installed along the entrance to the gardens, preventing dog walkers and their dogs from entering. Contractors are now able to cut the grass and residents are very happy that they can now enjoy their gardens.

June 2022

You said: Residents were concerned about rising levels of anti-social behaviour and the appearance of their estate.

We did: Accent is working in partnership with the local authority and the police to improve residents' confidence in reporting anti-social behaviour. We reminded customers about the ways in which they could report anti-social behaviour through the website, using MyAccount or anonymously through Crimestoppers. We also provided residents with a skip to help them to dispose of their unwanted bulky items.
