Sally Ormiston
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Sally has had a 15-year career across public, private and third sectors as a consultant, and in a range of high performing strategic and operational leadership roles.
Sally is an energetic and committed leader with a broad set of interests in public policy, especially in the relationship between people and place, with a background and keen interest in regeneration and economic development.
Sally brings a range of experience to the Accent Board in developing strategies for public agencies, navigating public/private governance regimes and associated funding and risk management. Her former experience comes from a number of senior roles with Deloitte, including Director of Client Experience, Programme Director for London 2012 (leading the programme for Deloitte's sponsorship of the Olympics and Paralympic Games), and as a public and third sector strategy consultant.
Sally is currently Director of Craggwood Consulting Ltd and started her career in regeneration with Yorkshire Forward. Her notable achievements feature leading roles on a number of national significance initiatives, including London 2012, Lord Haskin’s review of the delivery of rural services, the London Development Agency’s £500M annual investment and, latterly, the business impacts of Brexit.
Sally is currently also a board member with Social Business Brokers CIC, a social enterprise seeking innovative solutions to social problems, currently focused on empty homes and waste recycling.
