Richard Wilkinson

Richard has been an Accent resident since 1992.
He has worked in the education and health sectors for over 36 years in roles which include assistant head teacher in a challenging comprehensive school and leader of a sixth form college. He has also spent time leading a local ‘Aimhigher’ Partnership.
Richard has also been a high school governor of Leeds Trinity University, and a trustee and deputy chair of a local charity.
In 2015, Richard was appointed as the lay member for governance at the Bradford District Clinical Commissioning Group and, in 2017, he secured a second NHS role as lay member for the Joint Clinical Commissioning Committee for West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health Care Partnership.
