Introducing James Kelly


James has represented the Lloyds banking group at political and parliamentary events across the UK, and hosted high profile ministerial and MP visits.

James is a former deputy chair of the Council of Mortgage Lenders Mortgage Arrears and Possessions Panel, on which he acted as the Lloyd’s representative on a number of regulatory and risk developments.

From 2017-18, James was elected as deputy chair of The UK Finance Mortgage Arrears and Possessions Panel, following The Council of Mortgage Lenders integration into UK Finance. 

Previously, James has held the role of Lloyd’s director of residential lettings and property management, where he was responsible for the launch, growth and operation of residential lettings and property/asset management business. James has also held director roles for Sequence Connells and Dacre, Son & Hartley, where he was responsible for improving the residential lettings, asset and property management business across the north, and delivering a new strategy and business plan to update and improve the lettings and property management division.

James has held a number of professional and voluntary roles in the Department for Work and Pensions and the Council of Mortgage Lenders.
