Meet Nigel Wright, our Chair
Nigel is Chair of the Board at Accent Housing, bringing extensive governance and leadership experience from across the social housing, financial services and charity sectors. He has held a wide range of Non‑Executive Director and Chair roles, including Group Chair at Progress Housing Group and Board and Committee positions at several registered providers. With over 30 years’ experience in regulated environments, he brings strong expertise in governance, strategy, risk and financial oversight, alongside a proven track record of developing high-performing boards
Alongside his non-executive portfolio, Nigel has held senior executive roles in retail banking and payments, including leadership positions at LINK and the Woolwich. He brings particular expertise in strategic development, organisational transformation and customer-focused change, and is committed to ensuring that strong governance and customer voice underpin organisational decision-making. As Chair, he provides strategic leadership to the Board, supporting Accent to deliver its long-term vision and positive outcomes for customers and communities
