Meet Liz Granger, our Board Trainee
Liz is a Board Trainee at Accent Housing, having joined in February 2026 through the organisation’s Board and Committee Trainee programme delivered in partnership with the Housing Diversity Network. She is an emerging governance professional, developing her experience of board operations, strategic oversight and decision-making through active participation in Board and Committee activities.
Alongside her trainee role, Liz is Head of Widening Participation and Public Engagement at the University of Lancashire. She brings over ten years’ experience leading community engagement programmes, with a strong track record in strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration and delivering measurable social impact. Liz is passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion, and brings a strong commitment to expanding opportunity and ensuring diverse voices are represented in decision-making.
