About the Saarah Moughal Bursary
Saarah was a much-loved member of our Digital Team who sadly passed away in 2020. In her memory we have created the Saarah Moughal Bursary Fund which aims to inspire and help ethnically diverse female students develop a career in computing and technology. The selected student will receive a £3,500 award for each year of their undergraduate degree, excluding any placement year (£10,500 total award).
How to Apply
Applying for the Saarah Moughal Bursary is simple. Here’s what you need to do:
- Check your eligibility: You must be an ethnically diverse female student who is planning to start/already studying an undergraduate degree in computing or technology at a UK university in 2025.
- Complete the application form: Click the 'Apply Now' button below to fill out a short online form.
- Submit your application: Applications must be submitted by [insert deadline date]. Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email.
- Shortlisting and interviews: After the closing date, we’ll review all applications. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a short virtual interview with our selection panel.
- Awarding the bursary: The successful applicant will be contacted directly and publicly announced in June 2025, before university enrolment deadlines.
