CLAIRE STONE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
As executive director of customer experience, Claire is responsible for every one of our customers and every aspect of their homes and services. her vision for the Accent customer experience is that we 'get it right, every time.'
Claire has had a long and varied career at Accent, joining as a housing assistant (or customer advisor in today’s terms) almost 30 years ago. Following a range of housing roles, including policy and strategy development, and steady career progression, Claire was then appointed to run our commercial operations in the primary and acute health sectors, and rural regeneration.
With our refocus on core housing business, and our exit from the commercial sector, Claire was appointed managing director of Accent Foundation, (our Yorkshire, North West and North East regions). This was a role Claire held until an organisational restructure in 2013/14, which saw her appointed as executive director of communities and assets. She held this role until 2017, when the responsibility for both assets and customer services merged under one role, Claire’s current role.
In her time at Accent, Claire has also fulfilled secondments with Stonham Housing Association and the National Housing Federation. Both have been great learning and development opportunities and she is keen to see her team make the most of similar opportunities.
