Meet Steve Morris, our Interim Executive Director of Development and Sales
Steve Morris joined Accent in 2019 as the Director of Development, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the affordable housing sector.
With 25 years dedicated to the industry, Steve has spent the majority of his career—20 years to be precise—focused on development. He has been instrumental in delivering programmes of up to 600 homes a year, showcasing his exceptional project management skills and ability to drive large-scale initiatives.
His journey began in repairs and maintenance, where he witnessed firsthand the disappointing quality of homes that the development team was passing on to residents. Motivated by this experience, Steve transitioned to development with a vow to make a difference. His commitment to improving housing quality has been unwavering.
In January 2025, Steve took on additional responsibility for the sales team and became Director of Development and Sales. In May 2025, he stepped up to the role of Interim Executive Director of Development and Sales, continuing to lead with passion, drive and a focus on delivering results.
Steve is known for his passion for delivering high-quality homes to customers. He strongly believes that everyone deserves a well-built home regardless of their economic status. Throughout his career, he has channelled this passion to bring about positive change and elevate the standards of affordable housing.
