Meet David RoystonÂ
We have appointed David Royston as our new executive director of finance and ICT.
David will lead our strong financial and digital transformation teams as we look to meet our new vision and corporate strategy, 'With you for the journey.'
David has been our interim director of finance since the New Year. He joined Accent in 2006 as head of asset management.
David's experience comes from both the housing and corporate sectors. Prior to joining Accent, he was group finance director for Harron Homes. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1991, having trained with KPMG. He then spent 10 years in the energy supply sector with Yorkshire Electricity.
David has headed up Accent's corporate finance team since 2010, leading on our financial and digital strategies, which have included a transformation in the group's structure, and a consolidation of our three housing associations into one, the successful completion of the transition to FRS102 and the on-going review of Accent's pension arrangements.
As a result, we are now in a strong position to move forward to increase our borrowings and build c2,000 new homes over the next 4 to 5 years under David's financial leadership.
