NEW HOMES COMING SOON Ripleyville Redevelopment

The 'Ripleyville Consultation' page for existing residents has moved, please see the link below…

Our Ripleyville development was built in 1976, and consists of 164 apartments split across a number of streets in BD5. The estate is in need of major reinvestment, so we have asked the residents who live there about what the future of the development should be. They have chosen for us to demolish and rebuild the development into around 73 new affordable family homes.

The new homes will be really positive for the community and improve the surroundings of anyone who lives or works nearby.

We are pleased to be working with Bradford Council, who are currently considering our application for Planning Permission.

If you are part of the local community, your views are important to us so we are inviting you to look at our plans and have your say. You can view the plans and supporting documents on the Bradford Council Planning Portal using the reference 21/04368/MAF.

Our residents are now in the process of moving out. We have begun to survey the site and make plans for demolition to begin in 2022.

We will do our very best to keep disruption to a minimum for everyone living and working near Ripleyville, but if you have any concerns, or matters you’d like to raise, please comment on the planning portal, or let us have your comments using the form below.

In anticipation of some of the comments usually raised around new developments, I can reassure you that we will work with our partners to ensure there is always proper access for residents, deliveries will be kept to a minimum and be at set times, private property and vehicles will be respected and, most importantly, the development will be safe and secure for anyone living and working nearby.

Yours faithfully

John Place
