On Thursday 4 September we’re bringing back The Big Conversation – one day of the year where our office teams volunteer to swap desks for doorsteps. We’ll be out and about across neighbourhoods and schemes, to share some key information and updates with you, and to listen and record any feedback you might have.
We want to reassure customers that it’s us who’ll be knocking on your door for a quick chat.
About The Big Conversation
The Big Conversation is our national annual engagement event. It’s a chance for us to have a short, friendly chat at your doorstep about your home, your neighbourhood and our services. One in three customers say they want a bigger say in housing services, so for us, this is another chance to find out what’s important to you. We’ll also be sharing some updates with you about our services, and giving out copies of our latest Annual Report for Customers.
Who’ll be visiting
Colleagues from across Accent – not just community teams – are volunteering to take part. They’ll be working in small groups and will be out and about in local communities throughout the day.
What will happen
We’ll introduce ourselves, show ID and talk to you about some key information on our services. We’ll also ask whether you have any feedback you’d like to give us so we can continue to improve our services.
Our telephone lines will be open for emergencies only on Thursday 4 September
The members of our team who you usually speak to in our contact centres will be taking part in the event. This means our telephone lines will be open for emergencies only.
If you do need to speak to us about something that’s not an emergency, our telephone lines will be back open as normal on Friday 5 September from 8am to 6pm.
Remember you can report a repair anytime of day using My Account. You can access My Account here.
Your safety and peace of mind
All Accent colleagues carry photo ID and will always produce this. If you’d rather not chat, just tell us – there’s no pressure.
