What a fantastic Great British Spring Clean!
Over the past two weeks, our customers, colleagues and partners have come together to help keep our communities clean, safe and places we’re proud to call home.
- Here are just a few highlights from across Accent:
In Paston, volunteers collected 19 bags of litter, cleared fly-tipping and helped tidy a known ASB hotspot - On Black Prince Avenue, the team removed dumped waste and returned 11 abandoned shopping trolleys
- In the East, teams collected an incredible 41 bags of litter in just 3 days
- In Old Dean, we teamed up with a local school - with 13 children helping tidy their community spaces
- At Howard Close, bulky waste including mattresses and furniture was cleared with support from residents and partners
We also worked alongside some brilliant partners, including Keep Britain Tidy, Peterborough Wombles, Surrey County Council and local schools, showing what’s possible when we work together.
But it wasn’t just about cleaning up. These events brought people together, sparked conversations and showed our customers that we care about the places they live.
