Accent Housing has signed the Cleveland Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) Charter, showing our commitment to helping customers feel safe in their homes and communities.
The charter sets out clear standards for how organisations respond when antisocial behaviour is reported. It was developed by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland and signed by housing providers, councils and Cleveland Police.
By signing the charter, Accent is making a clear promise to customers who report ASB. This includes:
-
Treating customers with dignity, respect and understanding
-
Listening carefully and keeping clear records of incidents
-
Providing updates and explaining what will happen next
-
Offering access to support services where needed
The charter also makes sure customers know their rights, including how to request extra support, make a complaint, or ask for a review if the problem continues.
At Accent, we know antisocial behaviour can have a serious impact on people’s lives. Signing this charter strengthens our commitment to listening to customers, working with partners, and taking action to help keep communities safe.
We will continue to work closely with local partners across Cleveland to prevent antisocial behaviour and support customers when they need us.
If you are experiencing antisocial behaviour, please contact our team so we can help.
