Accent Housing Recruitment

Our people love to deliver a great service and we always value such talent. We help them achieve their potential and, with support and opportunities all along the way, we can help you achieve yours.

To make your experience as seamless as possible why not check out the step-by-step guide to our recruitment process below. Please keep in mind that a recruitment process might vary depending on the type of job you are applying for.

  1. Apply
All our vacancies are displayed on our dedicated website. Upon applying for a role with us you will be guided to create a candidate profile, which takes approximately 20 minutes. If there aren't any vacancies advertised at the moment that are right for you why not set up an account and sign up for job alerts?
  2. Telephone Interview
For some of our positions we might ask you to complete a telephone interview, where we will ask you to answer a couple of questions relating to the role. Other positions will require a chat with the hiring manager about yourself and the role you have applied for.
  3. On-site Assessment
Dependent upon the role you have applied for you may be required to attend an onsite assessment at one of our regional offices. The assessment centres vary dependent upon role, but generally, run for around 3 hours. These can include a group exercise, ICT Test, and a presentation. We will always tell you the format of your Assessment Centre prior to attending.
  4. Face to Face Interview
The last part of our recruitment process is a face-to-face interview. We will inform you of who will be on the panel but this will always include the hiring manager and a member of our People Team. Each interview will vary dependent upon role, however, we ask a series of competency-based questions centred on our company values.
  5. Feedback
During the interview we will advise you when to expect an outcome. Each hiring manager will arrange a time to provide you with feedback on your interview, whether you have been successful or not.
