Working to Keep you Safe

Keeping Your Safe As Restrictions Ease

The past few weeks and months have had a huge impact on us all. Although we’ve all had to change the way we live our lives, we haven’t changed our commitment to you.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working from just about every room in our homes to find new ways to deliver your service. We’ve had to put some services on hold but, as the restrictions begin to lift, we are working with our contractors, staff and partners to restart some of these services.

Whatever the next few weeks and months bring, we promise to always provide you with safe, secure and quality homes and services. In our Working to Keep you Safe update you can read what we've been doing to help keep you safe, and how we plan to restart our services.

Normal Service Resumed

We are now planning to re-start all our repairs. You may have already started to see contractors on site. We are now taking calls for non-urgent repairs, but not making appointments to do these yet, so we can be sure to get to the most important ones first. To help us get to those first, please register your non-urgent repairs here. Although we are keen to re-start our repairs, your safety always comes first and we will always follow government guidelines so these dates could change.

‘General Needs’ Homes (homes which are not especially designed, built, adapted or managed for residents with needs)

  • Outside communal repairs – week commencing 25 May 2020.
  • Outside individual repairs – week commencing 25 May 2020.
  • Inside communal repairs – week commencing 1 June 2020.
  • Inside individual repairs – week commencing 8 June 2020.

Independent Living and Extracare Schemes

  • Outside individual repairs – week commencing 13 July 2020.
  • Inside communal repairs – 20 July 2020.
  • Inside individual repairs – 27 July 2020.

We hope to start planned maintenance work from 1 August 2020. If your home is due for any improvement work, we will contact you.

We hope you feel reassured that we are starting to resume our services, with the understanding that your safety and security is still our top priority and we will continue to follow government guidelines while the Coronavirus crisis continues.

Stay safe and we hope we will see you again very soon.
