Meet our New Chief Operating Officer

We are delighted to announce that from 1 December 2022 our current Executive Director of Assets & Sustainability, Julie Wittich, will be promoted to chief operating officer.

This newly created role will see Julie continue to manage our existing assets and sustainability responsibilities, but also lead on our customer experience strategy. This will make sure all our functions across Accent are equipped to deliver the best possible service for our customers.

Commenting on the appointment, Chief Executive Paul Dolan said: “It is testament to Julie’s housing experience and commitment to customers that we’ve seen such a pace in delivery against our core business objectives."

"Since beginning in January this year, Julie has overhauled our repairs and maintenance operations to ensure we continue to develop and deliver well despite turbulent external pressures."

"Matched with our priority to provide safe and affordable homes, is the ambition to meet the highest levels of customer satisfaction. I believe Julie’s strong social values and her focus on the needs of our residents will, with the support of a highly committed team, continue to progress our customer experience agenda.”

Julie has extensive housing and asset management experience across a career in-sector which spans over 30 years. Prior to joining Accent, Julie held the position of interim group director of operations at Watford Community Housing and was an executive director at bpha for 6 years.

Speaking of her new role, Julie said: “I am delighted to take up this role at Accent and look forward to meeting and advancing our key priorities as a business to make sure we continue to deliver quality homes and housing services to all our customers."

"I am proud to be working alongside a dedicated and ambitious team at Accent and excited to see what the future holds.”
