From 4 April 2022, Ian Williams will become our main repairs and maintenance contractor for all our homes in:

• Boroughbridge, Ripon and Thirsk
• Filey and Scarborough
• Green Hammerton
• Harrogate and Knaresborough
• Killinghall
• York

Ian Williams already work with us in our East, North-West and Yorkshire regions, so we know each other very well. Like us, they pride themselves on delivering a great service to customers and they are looking forward to starting work. You will start to see their operatives and vans in these areas from 4th April. 

Esh Construction are not leaving our north east region, they will continue to be our main repairs contractor across the rest of our North-East region, in our main areas such as Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool and Durham.

Why are we appointing Ian Williams?

Our North-East region covers a very large area. We believe that having a second contractor, and dividing the work between the two, will help us deliver a better and more consistent repairs and maintenance service across the region.

What does this change mean for me?

• Any emergency and non-emergency repairs reported in the above areas from Monday 4 April onwards will be done by Ian Williams.
• Any outstanding repairs reported in the above areas before Monday 4 April will be done by Esh Construction.

Our customer partners will continue to cover the same areas.
