Changing Times for Homeowners

Over the coming months, we will be making some major changes in how we deliver services to our homeowners.

We are planning to reshape our service, to ensure that we deliver a more customer-focussed and professional approach. Many residents on our leasehold estates told us they wanted to see Accent staff out and about on their schemes more often, checking the quality of estate services, carrying out inspections and being more visible and accessible.

They said, we did!

We are now making some changes to our staffing structure. We will have three homeownership specialists, based in the North, to manage our 100% leasehold properties in the region, and we have created similar roles in our East and the South regions. These new posts will replace our existing homeownership officer roles. Our residents on 100% leasehold schemes will see them out and about on estates much more often and we plan to offer scheduled site visits for residents who want to discuss matters face to face. Our specialists will ensure our schemes and estates are safe and attractive places to live, and work with colleagues to ensure estates services are delivered well.

Our homeownership specialists will continue to be involved with more complex, specialist issues on all our mixed tenure schemes across all our regions, and will work very closely with our regional colleagues to ensure services to homeowners on our mixed tenure schemes are delivered well.

We hope you will notice the difference over the coming months.
