Accent’s Development Team have been shortlisted for ‘Development Team of the Year’ in the Inside Housing Development Awards.
This category looks to recognise ambition and excellent performance, with high quality new homes delivered to meet the needs of customers. The judges were on the look-out for outstanding achievement, new construction methods, innovation and sustainability.
Our Development Team has just concluded a bumper year in Accent's history, with the highest number of completions for ten years and 210 more homes delivered than last year. From just 32 homes completed in 2020/21, the team delivered 431 new homes in 2023/24. Accent became a Homes England Strategic Partner in 2021 and has delivered over 1500 starts-on-site so far.

The team have worked incredibly hard to deliver our ambitious development programme from scratch, and over the last few years have shown real commitment, innovation and resilience in a challenging sector and market. Together we have housed 1664 people in the last financial year alone in our new-build homes, with an approved pipeline of 1200 further homes at various stages of contract. What a team!”
The team will find out if they’ve won at the end of September.
