Accent Housing has retained top regulatory grading G1/V1 following an In-Depth Assessment (IDA) by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH)
The G1/V1 grading comes just a week after Accent Housing had their credit rating reaffirmed by Standard and Poors (S&P) as ‘A’ with a stable outlook. The IDA was one of the Wave 2 Consumer Regulation pilots.
These ratings provide assurance that despite ongoing sector volatility and continued economic pressures, the strong governance, financial management and strategic direction in place at Accent remains robust and resolute.
Paul Dolan, Chief Executive at Accent Housing, comments: “We are delighted to learn of our G1/V1 grading from RSH. The sector continues to face significant market challenges, but these gradings pay testament to the strength of our governance, operations and organisational resilience; the foundations on which we can continue to deliver strongly for our customers.”
Paul continues: “We are acutely aware of the financial challenges faced by many of our customers, and our focus on continuous improvements to our core services, investment in our current homes and maintaining the delivery of our ambitious development strategy, ensures we can meet both the immediate and longer term needs of our customers as we work to make our mark on addressing the housing crisis.”
