Visit From Local MP

Our Middlesbrough independent living scheme Shepherdson Court was delighted to welcome a special visitor recently, local Labour MP Anna Turley.

Anna joined some of the residents, scheme manager Leigh and housing officer Robbie at a daily coffee morning. 

They all had a good chat about the local area and what Shepherdson residents would like to see, the main suggestion was a local market.

Anna thought the idea could be a possibility and will speak to her colleagues on the local council. 

Anna was very impressed with the size and the quality of the homes we have to offer at Shepherdson Court. She felt the scheme was safe and secure and, as soon as she walked in, that it was a happy place.
