This development 46 new homes for affordable and social rent is in the small historic town of Godmanchester, adjacent to the A1198, and within the Huntingdonshire District Council area.
Minster Property Group approached Accent with this development opportunity, with the proposed site benefiting from outline planning permission for 46 new homes. We worked closely with Minster Property Group and their design team to prepare revised layouts and elevations, the new homes will have a modern appearance with feature porches, elevation treatment and coloured windows.
The new homes are for 'General Needs' with 17 homes designed to meed M4(2) standards and the the two bungalows built to meet wheelchair adaptable standards.
The scheme will be part-funded by Homes England Strategic Partnership Programme (HESP) Wave 2, via Together Housing, in order to deliver the government's agenda for new homes.
