Following a two week assessment in July, we have been awarded the Investors in People accreditation.
95 staff (20% of our workforce), were interviewed from across our five main UK offices. Staff were chosen randomly, and interviewed individually, and in small groups.
In awarding the accreditation the Investors in People assessor said: “Accent has satisfied all the requirements needed to be recognised as an ‘Investors in People’ organisation. The association is genuinely committed to having a professional, valued and enthusiastic workforce.”
“Accent recognises the importance of its people and has a people strategy which supports its vision, values and objectives, while focussing on having a professional, valued and enthusiastic workforce. Staff are proud to work for Accent, and have spoken about the satisfaction they feel in making a difference to so many people – Accent’s residents.”
Chief Executive Gordon Perry was delighted to hear the news. “I am really pleased and proud that we can now call ourselves an ‘Investors in People’ organisation. We have always valued our people, we know they are key to the success of having happy customers, but to have some recognition of that value is just fantastic. On behalf of the Accent Board, I want to thank everyone involved in getting us here.”
