Work underway on 50 new affordable homes for March

Addressing the pressing need for accessible and quality housing, Accent Housing and Burmor Construction proudly introduced their latest project on Norwood Road to esteemed guests from Fenland District Council in a ‘breaking ground’ ceremony.

The development is poised to bring 50 new affordable homes to the heart of March, comprising of all affordable rent properties. Completion on the site, supported by grant funding from Homes England, is expected in November 2025.

Sarah Ireland, Executive Director of Strategy and Growth at Accent Housing said: “Accent are delighted to be working with Burmor, as contractor on this construction project, once again. The 50 new homes at Norwood Road will be available for affordable rent, allowing local families and couples to build a life in a thriving market town community.
