If you are a tenant and want to opt out of any planned improvements in your home, you can complete our improvement refusal form.

If you’re a homeowner, you are not able to opt out of any planned improvements.

Accent want to, and are required to, maintain your home, but in rare/specific circumstances you may be able to opt out of having planned works completed.

If you want to opt out of any planned improvements in your home, you can complete our improvement refusal form and we will consider this request.

If the request is granted, this refusal will remain on your home for five years. You can contact the Accent Customer Service Team and ask for this refusal to be removed at any time within this five-year period.

After five years, we will contact you again to ask if you still wish to refuse the improvement. At that time, if you decide you want the work to be done, the refusal will be removed, and your home will be placed back into our planned program. This does not mean the work will be done straight away.

Improvement Refusal Form

(i.e Kitchen / Bathroom / Windows)
As the resident of the above address, I confirm that I wish to refuse the improvement as stated. I understand my refusal will stay on my account for five years. After five years, I understand that Accent will contact me again to ask if I still wish to refuse the improvement. At that time, if I decide I want the work to be done, I understand the refusal will be removed, and my home will be placed back into our planned program. I understand that this does not mean the work will be done straight away.
