Pets can be a lovely addition to the family and give many of us great companionship. However, it is important to make sure they are being kept in a home that is suitable for them.
That’s why you’ll need to complete the 'Pet Request' form below before we can allow you to keep a pet in your home. We’ll look at, for example, if there are any pet restrictions where you live, whether the pet is likely to cause any nuisance to neighbours and whether there is access to a garden or not.
As of 6 April 2016 it is the law in England that all dogs are microchipped by the time they are 8 weeks old. We will not give permission for you to keep a dog in one of our homes without proof that it has been microchipped.
Once you've completed the form, we'll get back in touch to confirm if we give permission. If for any reason we need to contact you for more information, it may delay our decision.
