If you have a hot water tank in your property and an immersion heater, (a switch which heats up water quickly, usually inside your airing cupboard), you could qualify for a free energy saving device, supplied by our partners at The USER Project.
How does it work?
A control box is fitted in your airing cupboard. The control box learns when you most need hot water and how much you need. It then heats your water when energy prices are cheapest, which could save you money on your energy bill without affecting your hot water supply.
How can I benefit?
Having the control box installed will not cost you anything, but if you often use your immersion heater to heat your water, it could help to reduce your energy bills. The amount you will save depends on your energy provider and your tariff, but it could be up to £70 a year.
Why are we doing this?
It goes without saying that we want you to have cheaper energy bills, but we are also supporting the government to lower carbon emissions and make renewable electricity available to everyone.

Once registered, our partners at The USER Project will keep you updated about when the controlbox will be fitted and how you can start to benefit from this exciting new technology.
