For now, we have suspended our mutual exchanges process (where residents swap homes with other residents).
We are doing this to protect our residents and our staff, and to protect the NHS and save lives.
The restrictions of the current lockdown mean that we shouldn't be going into residents' homes to assess the condition of the property, which is a key part of mutual exchanges, and it would be difficult for you to move in a safe way whilst following the guidelines for social distancing.
We will keep our position under review, based on Government guidelines, but we expect the service to be suspended until at least the end of February.
Where there are very special reasons for an exchange, for instance someone's safety is at risk, we will consider if we can go ahead.
