Applying for a home to rent

Most of our homes in Bradford are let through a choice based lettings scheme, Open Moves. It is run in partnership with Bradford Metropolitan District Council and other local housing associations.

Housing for older people

For sheltered housing schemes, you should apply to us direct.

Open Moves for Bradford

We are members of Bradford's choice based lettings scheme which includes incommunities and other landlords in the Bradford area.

Each week, available properties are advertised on the Open Moves website and in the local press. The adverts give you all the information you need about the property to help you decide if you would like to apply for it.

To apply for properties you must be registered as an Open Moves member. To register, phone 0845 141 6666 or visit the Open Moves website to apply.

Closed waiting lists

Some of our waiting lists in certain areas are closed. This is because we have a very high demand for homes in these areas and not many vacancies, or because the council nominates our residents for them. You will find a list of any closed areas on our renting a home page.

Renting your home

If you would like to rent a home with us, please go to our renting a home page. Here, you will find our on-line application form and all the information and advice you need.

Exchanging your home

We are members of a service called homeswapper. This scheme helps residents to exchange their homes with residents of other landlords. Please contact our neighbourhood team and ask about Homeswapper before going any further as it is subject to certain terms and conditions and the agreement of both landlords involved.
