Communal Corridors
01/02/2012
All residents that have the use of communal corridors will be aware of the importance of keeping them clear of rubbish, buggies, bikes and any other such items.
Over the past few months though, we have noticed an increase in the number of items appearing in communal corridors. The communal corridors need to be kept clear for Health & Safety reasons, fire regulations and for the safety of all residents in the block of flats. This behaviour is also a breach of your Tenancy Agreement.
There have also been incidents when residents have reported items going missing from the communal corridors. Putting these items in your flat or your shed will prevent this from happening.
We will now be instructing our Caretakers to remove any items we find when we are carrying out inspections and when residents report it to us.
Items will be stored and it will then be your responsibility to contact us on 01276 852900 or 0800 294 2280 to arrange collection. Such items will be stored for 28 days and then they will be disposed of.
