Accent Regeneration & Community Partnerships

Through Accent Regeneration & Community Partnerships, (AR&CP) we give our residents more choice and opportunity through engagement, capacity building, learning, skills, jobs, enterprise initiatives and environmental improvements.

Please read on to find out more about what we do or contact us if you would like to speak to someone.

Our range of activities

Resident engagement, developing learning and skills to help those in disadvantaged communities, and promoting enterprise, are all crucial elements in delivering sustainable communities. They are all key components of our work with people, in places and to create prosperity, and making our work more sustainable long-term.

People focused activities

Improving people’s lives by increasing their capacity to help themselves and benefit their community. Our work targets disadvantaged, under-represented and hard-to-reach groups; and our programmes involve construction, personal and social development, job search, short courses, equality and diversity, and learning and vocational skills.

Worklessness activities

Initial engagement, personal development, first step entry level training, mentoring, work placements, jobs and job support.

Prosperity focused activities

Increasing the capacity and efficiency of the local economy, mainly through business support and enterprise infrastructure.

Middlesbrough Training Centre

We work in partnership with East Durham College to deliver NVQs in construction. We also deliver a level 1 construction training contract, which includes personal and social development, job search and enrichment.
