We have appointed Sarah Ireland as our new executive director of development and growth.

Sarah, who joins us on 3 September, has worked in both the private and public housing sector since 1998. She has held a number of director and senior roles for housing associations and private developers which include Taylor Wimpey and bpha. Sarah's most recent position has been with the Combined Authority of South Cambridgeshire District Council as interim director of development.

During her career, Sarah has been responsible for the development and delivery of a large number of sustainable and affordable housing schemes for rent, shared ownership and private sale.

Sarah is delighted to be joining us. She said “Accent’s enormous passion, drive and enthusiasm to deliver excellent services to customers mirrors my own. I am delighted to have been offered a new opportunity to deliver homes that both Accent and their residents can be really proud of. I’ve seen Accent’s commitment to delivering excellent services and to significantly increase its development programmes across the country. I am really excited to be part of the team and Accent’s plans for the future.”

Chief Executive Paul Dolan said: “We are committed to delivering our ambitious development plans to build 2,500 homes over the next five years and I’m confident Sarah will help us achieve that. I know she will be a real asset to Accent and help us to provide excellent homes and services for our customers. I’m delighted to have her as part of the Accent team.”
