Great Grandmother Madge Burrow has recently celebrated her 100th birthday.

On her special day, 29 May, Madge enjoyed afternoon tea in the company of her three daughters, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, in Vyner House, where she lives.

Madge, who had three cakes making up the number '100' was also joined by many other friends and neighbours. She received cards from HM the Queen and the Department for Work and Pensions.

Madge, who was one of 10 ten children, left school at 14 to work at Rowntree, where she stayed for the next 45 years until her retirement.
