Our former office on Lincoln Road, Peterborough, is being transformed into new homes.
The £3.5m renovation project will see Manor House redveloped into 11 one and two-bedroomed apartments, with another 20 homes created nearby. Once finished, all 31 homes will be available for affordable rent to people on Peterborough Council’s housing waiting list.
The construction work, by Lindum Group, is scheduled to finish at the end of this year.
Regional Housing Director Damian Roche said “This development is a great example of Accent working with a local construction company to provide really attractive, sustainable homes. We have not left the city centre, we have just moved to smaller offices close by, but the move has enabled the redevelopment of our old offices into much needed, affordable housing for people in need in Peterborough."
"We will continue to provide great services to our existing residents, and we are committed to working closely with our partners at Peterborough City Council and elsewhere to help solve our country’s housing crisis with the provision of new homes. I am delighted with the redevelopment and looking forward to seeing the next phases completed.”
The new homes are the first we have developed in Peterborough for almost 10 years. They form part of our ambitious new plans to invest over £200 million to help build 2,500 much needed new homes across the country by 2023.
