Have your say on social housing

HaveyoursayAccent Yorkshire seeks volunteers for Compliance and Scrutiny Committee

An interesting opportunity has arisen for two new voluntary members to join our Compliance and Scrutiny Committee. We are looking for a current tenant and a non-resident member to influence Accent’s activity and help us to drive performance standards higher. Sound interesting? Read On:

Influencing Positive Change

As a committee member you can affect positive change on the things that really matter to residents in social housing including: Property standards, reducing vacant properties and driving up the quality of our customer experience. We are engaged in an exciting journey of organisational development and service transformation and your input will be invaluable.

Volunteering as a committee member enables you to work as part of a team, supported by training and mentoring to enhance your personal development. As well as participating in meetings, members get the opportunity to visit resident housing schemes and speak with current tenants on key topics.
