AUDIT COMMITTEE MEMBER

£2,000pa + expenses

The Accent Vision is to make a difference by improving homes, communities and lives, and we are firmly committed to providing our residents with the excellent homes and top quality services they have a right to expect.

As a member of our audit committee, you will have high-level financial experience, and you will be able to challenge, scrutinise and seek assurance of the effectiveness of our internal controls framework. In upholding our values; respectful, creative and dependable, you will examine our financial reporting, risk management and auditing processes. As a member of the committee, you will oversee the work of the internal auditors, ensuring compliance with all applicable Codes of Audit Practice, and offer constructive challenge to our executive and leadership teams to facilitate the achievement of our aims and objectives. Always, you will act in the best interests of our organisation, our residents and our customers.

We particularly welcome applications from people who have a significant accounting or finance and/or audit and assurance background.
