We are looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our regional Compliance and Scrutiny Committees (CSCs).
You will work closely with other members, who will be residents and independent members, as well as senior managers, to scrutinise regional performance and contribute to the regional improvement of services.
This is an important role and a great opportunity if you are looking to develop new skills, further your career or develop personally, whilst helping to improve our services. We will provide training and support to help you develop within the role.
We value the knowledge and experience that our resident members can contribute to the committee. We are looking for individuals with good communication skills, who are keen to learn and passionate about providing excellent services to our residents. No past experience as a board or committee member is needed, but we are looking for people with experience of working in customer service, housing management, property management or performance management.
The committee works on a voluntary basis and a commitment to attend four formal meetings and up to four ad-hoc meetings per year is the minimum required. Committee meetings are held in the evening but there may be some daytime visits to see our properties. You will be paid travel expenses and any loss of earnings.
