Getting involved

As a resident, you have the chance to get involved in developing our services, and we're keen to get as many of you involved as we can.

The level of involvement, commitment and time needed, can be adjusted to meet individual needs.

Would you like to have more of a say in how we run things?

You can start by reading our Involvement Matters booklet .

If you would like us to send you a copy of Involvement Matters, click here and use our reply slip to tell us your name and address.

You can also read how we are getting our residents involved in our annual statement of resident involvement and how residents are making a difference in our resident involvement impact assessment.

Whatever your level of involvement, it will help to make a difference and improve services for all residents, everywhere.

Accent Foundation Board

The Accent Foundation Board makes sure that Accent Foundation's
day-to-day business is properly planned, organised and carried out. Board members work with residents to influence and improve services. Three resident board members sit on the Accent Foundation Board.

Accent Group National Residents' Panel

Our National Residents' Panel is made up of residents from Accent Foundation, Accent Nene and Accent Peerless. Residents help to drive improvements across Accent Group, concentrating on shared issues, such as anti-social behaviour, repairs, lettings and resident involvement.

Accent Foundation Residents' Panel

Members of the Accent Foundation Residents' Panel help to improve services for Accent Foundation residents by looking at the policies and procedures that affect them, and making recommendations for change to the Accent Foundation Board. The chair of this panel sits on the Accent Foundation Board.

Please see our main information and publications page to view and download minutes from meetings, and other information and leaflets about our services. You will also find Your Voice here, our quarterly residents' magazine.

Regular local meetings

These are one-off meetings held to discuss certain parts of our business.

Residents' Associations

Residents get together to talk about things that affect their scheme and neighbourhood.

Annual estate and scheme meetings

Each of our schemes and estates has an action plan, which has been put together based on local priorities and what residents feel is most important. Residents have the chace to discuss plans and influence decisions.

Questionnaires and surveys

We carry out surveys often. Residents respond by post or by telephone.

Scheme walkabouts

We inspect all our schemes regularly to make sure they meet our standards, and residents are encouraged to take part.

Interested residents

When residents tell us they are interested 9iin getting involved, we keep their contact details on a list so that when opportunities for involvement come along, we can invite them to take part.

If you are interested in getting involved in any way, please contact our resident involvement team on 01274 717 500. A member of the team will ring you right back.
