Gordon Perry joined us as our new director of operations on October 22nd.

Gordon has come from London based Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation, where he has been chief executive since June 2001.

In his time there, he has lead Kensington and Chelsea to achieve the Audit Commission's elusive '3 star' status.

Gordon said: "Accent is an innovative and fresh organisation which cares very much about excellence in its services. This is one of the main reasons why I am joining the team and so looking forward to returning north."

Chief Executive Martin Kelly said: "We believe all our customers expect, and deserve, a high quality of service whenever they deal with us, and Gordon will ensure we give them that. We are very much looking forward to him joining us."
