Facilities Management (FM) services
As a registered social
landlord, we have many years experience of providing and managing
the delivery of high-quality repair and maintenance
services.
That experience now finds a new and expanded application, as we
aim to lead our industry in delivering exemplary FM services to
community-based health projects.
Our £47m PFI bid to reprovide mental
health facilities for the city of Leeds, secured us a 25-year
partnership to provide both hard and soft FM services to seven
hospital and residential units across the city. Leeds Mental Health
Teaching NHS Trust continues to fulfill the clinical needs of its
patients, while we take care of housekeeping, catering, portering
and landscaping, as well as lifecycle, planned and reactive
maintenance.
We provide some of the services with a
directly employed 170-strong team, while others are delivered
through sub-contractors managed by our central group of
highly-experienced managers. We make extensive use of innovative
processes and technologies in keeping close contact with our
customers, and in being able to respond swiftly and positively to
their needs.
In July 2006, our FM team won a
contract to provide hard FM services to a growing number of primary
health care centres in Bradford and Airedale and Tees Valley and
South Durham. The centres are part of the NHS Local Improvement
Finance Trust (LIFT) programme, in which we are a private sector
partner.

Durham.
